Moving into the middle of the Pride Week in Key West calendar, there’s a lot to look forward to on this Friday. The first event will be for men only: a clothing-discouraged pool party.
Theater, Music, and Parties Continue
June 7th, 7pm at Waterfront Playhouse
At the Waterfront Playhouse a performance of “The Pride” will go for a third-straight evening.
The critically-acclaimed play “The Laramie Project” begins at 7pm, and gay popstar Steve Grand performs live with special guest Miss Stachia and “The Love” at The Key West Theater at 8pm.
Later that night, a mens-only party, Fetish Ball, will take place at Bourbon Bar, and the Ultimate Mangoes Neon Party will welcome all at Starlight Bar on Duval Street.
Key West Pride Street Fair
June 8th, 10am
Speakers, vendors, local activist groups and Pride attendees will all hit the street on Saturday morning for shopping, learning, and eating at the Key West Pride Street Fair. This is one of the most beloved, and interactive events of Pride Week.
Throughout the day, Key West Pride will continue its run of events. There will be two more pool parties, and then the Purgatory Party at Bourbon Street, Cosplay Play at Aqua Nightclub, and Pride Block Party at Mary Ellen’s. There will also be showing of The Laramie Project at The Waterfront Playhouse.
MCC Pride Service
June 9th at Metropolitan Community Church
The last day of Key West Pride 2019 will start off with a MCC Pride Service to honor those we’ve lost in the LGBT and Key West communities. Following the service, there will be a pool party, a Gay Trolley Tour of Key West, and the Pride Parade Viewing Party. There will be karaoke, a dance, bingo, and the culminating and colorful Key West Pride Parade at five.
