Is there an airport nearby?
Yes! Key West International Airport EYW is a quick 10-minute drive from the hotel.
Do you provide shuttles to the airport?
No. Unfortunately we don't have an airport shuttle. (But we DO have a shuttle that goes to Duval Street and Smathers Beach!). We recommend a cab or Uber/ Lyft which are all easy to catch from EYW.
Is there valet parking? If so, how does the valet parking work?
Yes. In fact, if you plan on parking during your stay with us, valet parking is the only option. Parking is complicated on Key West and we've found that the best, most convenient option is to offer valet parking on our property exclusively. Valet parking costs $30.00 per night plus tax. And please note: this is a 24-hour service that is not included in the resort fee. It's a flat rate and includes as many in/out privileges as you need.
Is there an electric vehicle charging station?
What’s the best way to get around the city?
Our complimentary shuttle of course! It goes to and from Duval Street and Smathers Beach, and runs every two hours from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Our Key West hotel shuttle is first come, first serve. Our shuttle can accommodate up to 14 passengers and reservations are recommended due to limited seating if you are traveling with a larger party.
Parking is available all over Key West, but it is meter parking. If you're feeling a but more adventurous, renting a bike, golf cart, or scooter are also options to get around the city. Or if you prefer, Key West has Uber, Lyft, and taxis available as well. When it comes to getting around town, there's options-a-plenty!

Lobster Season
When is lobster season in the Florida keys?
Lobster season in the Florida Keys typically runs from August 6th to March 31st.
What are the bag limits for lobster during the season?
The daily bag limit is six lobsters per person for Monroe County, including the Florida Keys.
What are the size limits for lobsters?
Lobsters must have a carapace length larger than 3 inches measured in a straight line from the base of the horns to the end of the carapace.
Is there a specific time when lobstering is allowed?
Lobstering is allowed from one-half hour before sunrise to sunset during the open season.
Do I need a license to catch lobsters?
Are there any restricted areas for lobstering in the Florida Keys?

Is IC Insider part of the hotel?
IC Insider is a loyalty program that gives guests who book directly with Independent Collection Hotels & Resorts special rewards to enhance their stay. It's run by a third-party tech company that works with travel partners to offer guests who book directly special rewards and a better overall experience.
How do I redeem my rewards?
Instructions on how to redeem rewards will be emailed to you before your check-in date.
Will I be able to redeem rewards if I live outside of the United States?
IC Insider offers a wide variety of rewards that can be redeemed within the U.S. or internationally.
Can I change my rewards after booking?
Yes, you can change your rewards up to 2 days before checking in by clicking the “Select New Rewards” button in the confirmation email from [email protected].
Do rewards expire?
Each reward has its own timeline. The confirmation email will include instructions that explain how soon the reward will need to be redeemed.

How do I apply?

How do I make installment payments
You can make a payment anytime by visiting upgrade.com/pay and clicking on the Loans tab. From there, click the Make a Payment button.
Flex Pay recommends that you enable AutoPay at time of purchase so that your payments are automatically deducted each month.
If you don’t have AutoPay enabled, visit upgrade.com/pay, click on the Accounts page, and set the AutoPay toggle to ON.
You can also change the form of payment on file with Flex Pay anytime by visiting upgrade.com/pay.
What are the advantages of using Flex Pay vs a credit card?
What happens to my loan if I cancel my travel plans?
How long does it take for you to apply a refund to my account?
Once Flex Pay receives a refund from the merchant, we will apply the full amount to your account balance within 10 days.
If you receive a refund for more than the balance owed on your account, Flex Pay will credit back all remaining funds to the method of payment used to make the initial payment. In the event that you no longer have that method of payment (e.g., you used a card that is no longer valid), we will work with you to issue an electronic refund through Zelle.
How do I receive a refund?
You’ll need to initiate any cancellation or returns with the merchant first. If you are eligible for a refund from the merchant based on their refund policy, Flex Pay will apply the refunded amount to your account balance and credit back all remaining funds to your method of payment used to make the initial payment. In the event that you no longer have that method of payment (e.g., you used a card that is no longer valid), we will work with you to issue an electronic refund through Zelle.
If you receive a refund for less than the balance owed, you are still responsible for the outstanding balance and your monthly payments remain the same until your balance is paid in full.
Does checking my rate impact my credit score?
US Residents: When you check your eligibility, a “soft” credit inquiry occurs to verify your identity and determine your eligibility for financing. A soft credit inquiry doesn’t affect your credit score. Flex Pay does not perform a hard credit inquiry.
Canadian Residents: When you check your eligibility a “soft” credit inquiry occurs to verify your identity and determine your eligibility. A soft credit inquiry doesn’t affect your credit score. However, when you submit an application, a hard credit inquiry will be placed, which may impact your credit score.

When booking a resort, what's included in my Flex Pay offer?
When paying for a hotel booking with Flex Pay, your loan will cover your room rate, taxes, fees and add ons listed on the booking confirmation page.
When booking a resort, does my offer cover additional hotel charges?
While Flex Pay never charges any fees, your resort may charge additional fees during your stay for amenities such as resort fees, parking, and WiFi. For more information, please review the resort’s website or contact the resort directly.
